Company History

Our Story

Orangeville Transport Company was founded in 2018, starting out doing hazmat shipments for load brokers. Our early focus on compliance and reliability quickly set us apart — and in those first years, we landed our biggest client: a major chemical plant with operations in Sarnia and Brampton.

That relationship became the foundation for everything that followed. We broadened our hazard class certifications and built long-term partnerships with manufacturers, processors, and distributors across North America.

Today we operate a modern fleet of TDG-certified vehicles out of our Georgetown base, serving clients across North America — with customers including Samsung, Penske, Ryder, and more. Every driver on our team holds current TDG certification, and our safety record reflects the standards we've held since day one.

Our Principles

How We Work

Compliance First

Every shipment is documented, placarded, and handled to the letter of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act. We don't cut corners — the regulatory framework exists for good reason.

Accountability

When you hand us a load, you get a named contact, a tracking update, and a signed delivery confirmation. No hand-offs to anonymous subcontractors, no surprises.

Operational Reliability

Industrial clients run on tight schedules. We plan routes, permits, and timing in advance so your production line isn't waiting on a late truck.

Emergency Readiness

Our drivers carry the equipment, documentation, and CANUTEC contact information to respond to any incident. We train for it so it never becomes a crisis.

Where We Operate

North American Operations

Our headquarters and dispatch are based in Georgetown, Ontario — well-positioned for the Highway 400 and 401 corridors, the Greater Toronto Area, and routes connecting Ontario's industrial centres to the rest of North America. All maintenance, compliance checks, and driver briefings happen at our Georgetown facility before any load moves.
